Sintomatología psicopatológica en víctimas de abuso sexual infantil

Resumen
Introducción: El abuso sexual infantil es una forma de maltrato infantil con una elevada prevalencia actualmente y genera un daño psicológico que afecta aproximadamente al 70 % de las víctimas menores de edad.
Objetivo: Describir la sintomatología psicopatológica en víctimas de abuso sexual infantil.
Desarrollo: El estudio es una revisión documental. Se utilizó la metodología PRISMA (2021); los criterios de inclusión fueron: presencia en bases de datos que incluyan revisión por pares, publicado en idioma inglés o español, durante los últimos cinco años. La estrategia de búsqueda recurrió a las bases de datos APA, ScienceDirect, Medline, ProQuest, PubMed y SciELO. Para la evaluación de la calidad metodológica de los artículos seleccionados se empleó el método Critical Appraisal Skill Program, versión en español (CASPe). El periodo de búsqueda estuvo comprendido entre el 01 de marzo y el13 de abril de 2023.
Resultados: Se seleccionaron 17 estudios, con 36.707 sujetos en total. La prevalencia del abuso sexual infantil es de 14,6 %, aproximadamente el 30 % de las víctimas no desarrollan sintomatología psicopatológica; la sintomatología relacionada con la depresión, ansiedad, trastorno de consumo, parafílicos, estrés postraumático y personalidad es de un 65 %. Las limitaciones se relacionan con la inconsistencia y heterogeneidad de los resultados analizados.
Conclusiones: Los resultados coinciden con investigaciones previas en cuanto a prevalencia de la sintomatología, presencia de condiciones que influyen en el curso de la sintomatología. Otras evidencias muestran el desarrollo predominante de sintomatología relacionada con la depresión, ansiedad, trastorno de consumo, parafílicos, estrés postraumático y personalidad.
