Keywords:

Objective: To analyze the impact of cyberbullying on urban adolescents in Mexico and Argentina during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2023). Method: A systematic review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. The search in SciELO, Redalyc, PubMed and EBSCO identified 1,200 records, selecting 35 studies that met the inclusion criteria. Methodological quality was assessed with the CASP tool. Results: 60% of adolescents in Mexico and 45% in Argentina reported cyberbullying victimization during the pandemic. Consequences were identified in mental health (anxiety 38%, depression 28%, suicidal ideation 20%) and academic performance (demotivation 42%, decreased performance 35%, school dropout 5%). Contextual factors such as lack of parental supervision and digital gap significantly modulated the impact. Conclusions: Cyberbullying increased considerably during the pandemic, severely affecting adolescents' emotional well-being and academic performance. Multisectoral strategies are required for effective prevention.
