Relaciones afectivas con chatbots de inteligencia artificial y bienestar psicológico en hombres y mujeres

Resumen

Introducción: los chatbots de inteligencia artificial participan en intercambios afectivos y romántico-sexuales, pero su relación con el bienestar psicológico sigue poco diferenciada.

Objetivos: Analizar la estructura interna de una medida de relaciones afectivas con chatbots y su asociación con el bienestar en hombres y mujeres.

Métodos: se realizó un estudio transversal, instrumental y correlacional con muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia y bola de nieve en 881 personas adultas del sureste de México (448 hombres y 433 mujeres). La muestra se dividió para análisis factorial exploratorio (n = 440) y confirmatorio (n = 441). Se estimaron modelos de máxima verosimilitud, sensibilidad ordinal, confiabilidad, comparaciones y regresión jerárquica con errores estándar robustos frente a heterocedasticidad de tipo 3 (HC3).

Resultados: el modelo confirmatorio de cuatro factores superó los de tres y uno (CFI = .971; TLI = .967; RMSEA = .047; SRMR = .041). La sensibilidad ordinal mostró CFI = .999, RMSEA = .026 y SRMR = .041. Las subescalas presentaron α = .881-.891 y ω = .881-.900. La intimidad afectiva (β = .198) y la seguridad relacional (β = .182) se asociaron positivamente con el bienestar; la sustitución social, negativamente (β = -.329); el involucramiento romántico-sexual no mostró asociación independiente (β = .014).

Conclusiones: las funciones relacionales se asociaron de manera diferencial con el bienestar. La sustitución social mostró la asociación de mayor magnitud; su posible relevancia clínica requiere evaluación longitudinal y no implica causalidad ni diagnóstico.
