Una reflexión sobre el síndrome del impostor

Abstract

The article addresses the impostor syndrome as the difficulty in recognizing one’s own achievements, accompanied by a persistent feeling of being a fraud despite clear evidence of competence . It explains its multifactorial origins and how, through attributional biases and locus of control, individuals tend to attribute success to external factors while internalizing failure. Finally, it highlights the importance of recognizing this pattern in order to challenge it and develop a more realistic self-perception.
