Validez, confiabilidad y factores determinantes de la escala de agresividad social en adolescentes

Resumen

Introducción: la agresividad es una manifestación de violencia, que se evidencia con mayor frecuencia en la adolescencia. Se requiere un instrumento que permita identificar problemas conductuales de forma premeditada e impulsiva, para establecer una convivencia adecuada.

Objetivo: determinar la validez, la confiabilidad y los factores determinantes de la escala de la agresividad social mediante un enfoque orientado hacia el adolescente.

Método: estudio instrumental realizado en 2184 estudiantes (49,04 % mujeres) con edades comprendidas entre los 14 a 17 años (M = 15,39; DE = 0.98), y se distribuyeron en dos partes: validez y confiabilidad (1100) y factores determinantes (1084). El instrumento de medición fue el cuestionario de agresividad premeditada e impulsiva en adolescentes.

Resultados: el cuestionario presentó un modelo unifactorial con un coeficiente omega de McDonald de 0,85, se obtuvo tendencia media en relación a los niveles de agresividad, y se evidenciaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en relación al sexo y por las actividades que realizan en el tiempo libre, con rango promedio mayor para los hombres y en aquellos que pasan más tiempo en redes sociales.

Conclusiones: la escala de agresividad social representa un instrumento útil, que debe considerarse en el ámbito educativo para identificar problemas conductuales.
